Re: OMG! A bot! Get it!
No. It isn't.
It's an automated alogorithm that Yahoo! uses to record and collect internet data in advance of users using its (well known) search-engine, this pre-logging of data allows it to deliver faster search results to users when they query its system in the future. It's essentially just recording and keywording everything that we say here, putting it into Yahoo!'s database, and allowing Yahoo! to conduct engine-searches of our site in the future. It makes 'Gamers Central' appear in Yahoo! searches.
Seriously Sailor. Why not spend a bit of time learning about how this site works, then maybe you can make it better; instead of just remaining ignorant, making endless chains of errors, and handing out false information.
Don't forget: Poor leadership kills sites.

So while the bot is on, if we post like tons of threads all called Gamers Central is Awesome, when ever someone looked up awesome on yahoo, GC would come up? Perhaps not first but still, somewhere?

...but totally incorrect about the actual question asked.
Seriously, just man up and admit you made an error. Only a weak leader would seek to obfuscate the issue in order to retain some imagined scraps of dignity.
So you got it wrong. Big deal. Just say so and apologise, we'll respect you far more for that than for saying "Er, well, while the answer I gave was wrong, it would have been right if I had given it as the answer to a different question".
